أستاذي الفاضل أرجو المعذرة إذا كنت أبعث هذه الرسالة إلى العنوان الخاطىء فأنا الحقيقة أبحث عن أستاذي الفاضل جميل عبود الذي درسني مادة الرياضيات في مدرسة الإخلاص عام 1973 بالكويت وأريد أن أتواصل معه وأعلمه أن له فضل كبير علي فهل هذا هو أنت يا أستاذي وقد أصبحت كاتبا مبدعا؟

I do not have an Arabic keyboard,so please forgive me for writing in English.I will try to obtain Arabic keyboard support soon.I was most happy to learn from Ezzat Hegazi that he was able to find you.A group of us,from the 1975 graduating class from Ikhlas school had found each other on the Internet recently and we were wondering about some of our esteemed teachers and especially yourself.You can imagine how surprised and glad we were to get your contact information.Thank you for inviting me to be a friend on Facebook.I read your articles and I like and agree with you very much.If your thoughts were in a book,I would buy it since your life experience and words aim at breaking the cycle of brain washing that dominated much of the teaching in our part of the world.Our class was lucky I think to escape much of that and focus instead on attaining high standards in sciences and mathematics.After Ikhlas,I went to college in the UK then studied Computer Science in the US.I must tell you that I found mathematics too easy after the stromg foundation you gave us.I now live in Ottawa,Canada where I run a small computer solutions company.It has been 34 years since our last class in 1975 but I never forgot you as a kind and dedicated teacher that earned our deepest respect for your efforts to raise our standards.I am grateful and fortunate to have had you as my teacher.Thank you again and I hope you have been well and are in good health.I am travelling currently on a business trip but I will call you when I return home in 2 weeks

ثانوية عبدالله السالم المهندس باسل يوسف وهدان المحترم تحية طيبة وبعد تحياتي لك ولأبيك الروحي وأستاذك الفاضل السيد جميل عبود لقد قرأت رسالتك واعجبت بوفائك لأستاذك الكريم وحنينك للماضي لا اخفيك سراً وانا أقرأ رسالتك تفجرت عيناي بدموع الفرح والحزن مختلتطين معا كنت اود ان انجح في محاولاتي في العثور على واحد من هؤلاء العظام الذين درسونا وتعبوا كثيرا معنا ولكن قدر الله وما شاء فعل حيث باءت محاولاتي بالفشل وخصوصا اني  لا املك اي صور لأساتذتي العظام عندما غادرت الكويت في اغسطس عام تسعين!.

أما اليوم فقد تذكرت الأيام الخوالي في السبعينات انا من سكان شارع بغداد ميدان حولي وانهيت الثانوية العامة في سنة 1979 في ثانوية عبدالله السالم وأعيش الآن في بريطانيا منذ 23 سنة أتمنى من الله أن يجمعني بأساتذتي العظام يوماً من الأيام أخي المهندس باسل ربي يجمعك مع من تحب فانت رجل أمين و وفيّ لماضيك تمنياتي لك بالنجاح وتحياتي لأستاذك الفاضل السيد جميل عبود أيضاً.

جيل الوفاء

قام الدكتور حسام الدين عصام الغصين زميل الكلية الملكية البريطانية لأطباء الباطنية ورئيس قسم الأمراض الباطنية في مستشفى العدان في دولة الكويت بزيارة خاطفة إلى مدينة عمان حيث كانت العاصفة الثلجية (هدى) في استقباله ووداعه في مطار الملكة علياء الدولي ورغم ذلك أصر على زيارة من علمه الرياضيات في مدرسة الإخلاص الأهلية في الكويت سنة 1973 أي بعد 42 سنة أقول لكم هذا الكلام كي يتعلم الجيل الحالي الوفاء من جيل الوفاء.
